ParaFed Canterbury's main focus is on promoting Para sports opportunities to our members with physical impairments. However, there are a number of other non-sport services that are available in Canterbury for our community to access.

As a mobility parking permit holder you can park in designated mobility parking spaces. These are wider than standard parking spaces (making it easier to get in and out of a vehicle with a wheelchair or mobility aid), and are located closer to services and facilities.

Total Mobility is a nation-wide scheme designed to increase the mobility of people with disabilities who are unable to access public transport.
Assistance is provided in the form of discounted taxi fares. Total Mobility users are entitled to a 50% discount on taxi fares to a maximum of $35 per fare.
