2024 PARAFED NETWORK CHALLENGE
PATHWAY TO PARIS

It's that time of year where the ParaFed Network have set a new challenge.

This time it's PATHWAY TO PARIS. This will run from Thursday 1st August until the final day of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

The challenge is for the ParaFed Canterbury community (including family and friends) to combine together and reach the distance to get to Paris. Our target is
19,051km.

ParaFed Canterbury will be competing against other regions, who will attempt to reach a similar distance. We will need everyone’s help to achieve this goal, even if it that means just a day or a week of activity.

You can include exercise or activity above your normal day-to-day routine (ie: include going for a walk, the gym, sports training), but don’t include walking to the car, doing your supermarket shop etc...

•  For activities where the distance is trackable (eg, running, walking, cycling etc...)

    Use the total distance

•  For all other activities (wheelchair basketball, boccia, the gym etc...).
1km for every 10 minutes of exercise

You will be required to track your own distance each week and submit your total before Wednesday by 11.59pm.

Log your total weekly activity online

Week 4 ends Wednesday 28th August.

There will be a spot prize draw each week for those who register their weekly totals online (only 1 entry per person per week).
