GRAHAM CONDON SCHOLARSHIP

The Graham Condon Scholarship was first awarded in 2008 in memory of the late Graham Condon, who lost his life in a tragic accident on the 8th September 2007. Graham was a six-time New Zealand Paralympian who made a difference in the lives of many people with and without a disability. He influenced New Zealanders, and in particular Cantabrian’s, with his enthusiasm, no nonsense approach and commitment to improving the lives of everyone he came in contact with.

The Graham Condon Scholarship is awarded annually to an athlete who has not yet reached the highest level in their sport, but through outstanding commitment, attitude and ability, demonstrates the potential to achieve this in the future. The recipient of the Graham Condon Scholarship is announced at our Awards Function at the end of each year and receives a significant financial grant to assist them with their sporting development.

A total of 7 of the 16 recipients are now New Zealand Paralympians - Sophie Pascoe, Holly Robinson, Anthea Dixon, Caitlin Dore, William Stedman, Scott Martlew and Cody Everson.
